How we get this numberStand upright with feet hip-width apart
Keep shoulders relaxed and spine tall
Slowly turn head to one side, then return to center
Move with control and keep breathing steady
Gentle Head Rotations turns the head to one side and returns through a neutral center. The shoulders and torso stay relaxed. This is a turning movement, rather than a full circle of the neck.
Make a small turn with the chin staying comfortably level. Pause between sides.
Forcing the head farther after the shoulders begin to follow. Stop the turn sooner.
The app assigns 30 seconds to Gentle Head Rotations. Use that as a time block, with pauses whenever you need them. Move at the demonstration’s controlled pace; the timer is not a repetition target. Watch the full movement once before following along.
You will find this movement in Gentle Morning Warm-Up, at step 1 of 12. It first appears on day 1 of the Standing Beginner 30-Day Plan. The day count below follows the extended version; shorter days can use fewer movements.
