How we get this numberMarch in place, lifting your knees while swinging your arms.
Keep a steady, relaxed rhythm.
March with Arm Swing is an in-place stepping pattern. Alternating knees lift while the arms swing in a relaxed rhythm. It involves shifting onto one leg repeatedly, even though you do not travel forward.
Lift the feet only slightly, with a stable support nearby. Learn the feet first and add the arms later.
Marching faster to make the coordination feel easier. Slow down enough to control each foot placement.
The app assigns 30 seconds to March with Arm Swing. Use that as a time block, with pauses whenever you need them. Move at the demonstration’s controlled pace; the timer is not a repetition target. Watch the full movement once before following along.
It first appears on day 3 of the Standing Beginner 30-Day Plan. The day count below follows the extended version; shorter days can use fewer movements.
