How we get this numberStand with feet wide and bend knees into a horse stance
Keep torso upright, arms crossed in front of chest
Shift body weight slowly to the left, then to the right
Return to center and stabilize with control
Side to Side Sway practices left-to-right weight transfer with both feet on the floor. The app uses a wide horse stance with the arms crossed. It is a useful pattern to study before adding steps to a standing sequence.
Use a shallower knee bend and a smaller transfer, with a fixed support nearby if needed.
Tipping the shoulders sideways without transferring weight. Keep the torso upright and shorten the sway.
The app assigns 30 seconds to Side to Side Sway. Use that as a time block, with pauses whenever you need them. Move at the demonstration’s controlled pace; the timer is not a repetition target. Watch the full movement once before following along.
You will find this movement in Legs & Grounding Strength, at step 2 of 12. It first appears on day 1 of the Standing Beginner 30-Day Plan. The day count below follows the extended version; shorter days can use fewer movements.
