How we get this numberStand with the feet wide and the knees slightly bent
Keep the arms extended, shoulder-width apart
Inhale and shift your weight into the right leg while rotating slightly right, lifting both arms to the right
Extend the arms overhead, maintaining a long spine
On the exhale, shift your weight to the left leg as you rotate left and lower the arms to the left
Standing Waist Twist Right starts with a rightward shift and an upward arm sweep. The arms then travel down toward the left. Control the lowering as carefully as the lift, letting the weight transfer accompany the hands.
Keep the sweep near chest height before trying an overhead path.
Swinging down rapidly after the reach. Shorten the movement and control the lowering.
The app assigns 30 seconds to Standing Waist Twist Right. Use that as a time block, with pauses whenever you need them. Move at the demonstration’s controlled pace; the timer is not a repetition target. Watch the full movement once before following along.
