How we get this numberRelax your arms in front of your body and swing them calmly out to the sides.
Alternate sides in a loose, unforced motion.
Relaxed Arm Swing lets the arms travel outward from the front in a loose, alternating pattern. Allow the hands and elbows to stay soft as you change sides. Use a small enough swing that you can stop the movement without a sudden pull through the shoulders.
Use a short swing near the waist and pause between sides if needed.
Throwing the arms to create a larger arc. Reduce their momentum and keep the movement easy to stop.
The app assigns 30 seconds to Relaxed Arm Swing. Use that as a time block, with pauses whenever you need them. Move at the demonstration’s controlled pace; the timer is not a repetition target. Watch the full movement once before following along.
It first appears on day 2 of the Standing Beginner 30-Day Plan. The day count below follows the extended version; shorter days can use fewer movements.
